P-22 was the most famous mountain lion in Los Angeles. He crossed two of the city's busiest freeways to reach Griffith Park, where he lived for about ten years in the middle of the second-largest city in the US. Along the way he became a symbol of the wildlife that shares LA with the people who live here.
This black tee celebrates him with an illustrated Griffith Park scene: P-22 on the move across the hillside below Griffith Observatory, with city towers, palm trees and a hillside home around him. "Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County" runs beneath the art, and "P-22" is printed in orange on the sleeve.
The Natural History Museum studies the urban wildlife of Los Angeles through its research and community science programs. Every purchase supports the museum's work.
