Local artist Julie Burton, of Verre Modern in downtown Los Angeles, has found her passion for glass after working in many different media and disciplines. She appreciates the materiality of glass that, when combined with different techniques to manipulate it, provides endless inspiration and opportunities for creativity. Here, Julie has created a custom collection especially for the Natural History Museum, taking inspiration from the beautifully restored Haaga Family Rotunda. Each piece is made by hand, meaning the exact color and form will vary from the images shown, and will be your very own, one-of-a-kind piece to cherish.
